The lamps went dark

You play KoChaiwat, grandson of the last Linewarden of Ban Sairung. When the village lamp goes dark, he carries the harvest tally to the town of Lanternfall, hoping someone there can help.

But in Lanternfall, half the lamps get no answer. A company called Meridian says it is "upgrading" the town's Gates, and somewhere between the old and new settings, the network broke.

Every fault has a cause. Find it.

Observe. Test. Fix.

Talk to witnesses and gather clues. Every dark lamp is evidence.

Test

Run ping and ipconfig, form a hypothesis, and check it.

Fix

Change the configuration, then verify it. The simulation decides if it works.

Monsters born from lost packets

Each creature has a fault type. Scan it, learn its weakness, then use the matching fix to stagger it and hit its weak point. Knowing the network is how you win.

Controls

Weavebound 0.1.0

Install

1. Double-click Weavebound_Setup.exe.

2. Choose "Install for all users" or "Install for me only", then follow the steps.

3. Start the game from the Desktop shortcut or the Start Menu (Weavebound).

Nothing else is needed: no Unity, no extra downloads.

System requirements

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), a DirectX 11 graphics card, 4 GB RAM, about 1 GB of free disk space.

Uninstall

Settings > Apps > Weavebound > Uninstall (or "Uninstall Weavebound" in the Start Menu).

Your saves stay in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\KoChaiwat\Weavebound; delete that folder to remove them too.
